We grow gourmet mushrooms to give back to land justice and food sovereignty initiatives. Our mushrooms are grown locally right here in Baltimore.
How do we give back?
Charm City Caps cultivates mushrooms to sell for our umbrella organization Acres4Change - an organization dedicated to giving land access to local BIPOC farmers. Through the Acres4Change program these farmers are given hands on education for cooperative ownership, business management, and land stewardship. After finishing the program the cohorts receive a parcel of land to steward in the city, increasing food access for the local community, and land equity for BIPOC farmers.
